If you're on this page, it means we are having difficulty with our SMS text delivery and have created an alternative option to enjoy the adventures

This a great opportunity to connect with friends, family, and local businesses and have FUN doing it!
We have 4 adventures to choose from;
Keizer (10 locations)
Downtown Salem (13 locations)
West Salem (10 locations)
Lancaster Drive (8 locations)
Plus, the final location in Northest Salem.
We're giving away cash, door prizes, and loads of fun!
Once you complete an adventure, you will have the opportunity to select another adventure, or finish. If you choose to finish, then you will be directed to our final location in Northeast Salem to solve the final riddle and be entered to win the $1000 cash grand prize.
Here's how it works:
Step 1: Visit this page to see the locations on each adventure and select an adventure
Step 2: Visit each business in person in the chosen adventure. Take a selfie both inside and outside of the location, and be prepared to show the selfies at the final location.
Step 3: Visit the final location to enter to win cash and prizes
General guidelines:
Be kind and patient with your fellow adventurers and location hosts.

Note: This is NOT a race, so do it at your own pace. Stop and have something to eat.
Location-based tasks:
When you receive a location-based task, this means you need to physically go to the location shown in the text you receive
You will see the name of the location, along with a link to their WhirLocal profile on which you will find their address
You will generally find the riddle inside the building. If for some reason the location is not open yet, they have been instructed to post the riddle so that it is visible from outside the building
The location may ask you to do a small task before showing you the riddle. Have fun with it.

Once you have answered correctly, you will receive your next task via another text
If you need a hint, there is a code you can text on the riddle sheet
Our goal is to connect you with local places in our community. They need our support more than ever, so take a minute to learn about them and what they do. #supportlocal
Item-based tasks:
When you receive an item-based task, this means we want you to either find an item or take a selfie in front of a specific location or landmark.
Find the item or take the selfie
Reply via text to us with the keyword provided and include the selfie if asked to do so
Once you have responded with the keyword, you will receive your next task via another text
Trivia-based tasks:
When you receive a trivia-based task, this means we want you to answer the trivia question about our local area
Feel free to use Google
Reply via text with your answer
Once you have responded with the correct answer, you will receive your next task via another text
Adventure Completion:
Once you have completed all the tasks in your selected adventure, you will have the following choice
Finish and proceed to the final location (in North Salem) to answer the final riddle. You must visit the final location and solve the final riddle to be entered to win the $1000 cash grand prize.
Continue and do another adventure
For each completed adventure, you will receive (1) entry into the grand prize drawing for $1000 cash.

If you need help at any point along the adventure, you can either
Text the Hint Code displayed on the riddle for specific hints
Reply "Need Help" (without the quotation marks) at any point for general questions or issues and our team will be notified
